Sarso ka sag

Ingredients

  • A bunch of mustard greens
  • 1 and 1/2 glass of water
  • Green chili as per taste
  • Salt ( according to taste)
  • Ginger paste 1 small teaspoon
  • Garlic paste 1 small teaspoon
  • Onion 1big teaspoons finely chopped
  • Tamoto 1 Big teaspoon finely chopped
  • 2 big teaspoon makki ka atta
  • 2 small teaspoon desi ghee

Method

  • First wash and chop the sag
  • Now take a pressure cooker and pour the sag into it and also add 1 and 1/2 glasses of water,salt,green chilli and close the cooker
  • Allow at least 8/9 whistle of cooker
  • Now when the cooker cools down, keep adding maize flour little by little, after adding the flour, grind it with a grinder or by kneading and make a smooth paste.

Tadka

  • Take a pan for tempering and keep it hot on the gas
  • Now add desi ghee to the pan and add ginger, garlic paste and roast it for 2-3 minutes
  • Then add chopped onion and fry until transparont
  • After the onions are done, add tomatoes and fry them till they leave the tempering oil.
  • Once tempering, add sag to it and mix well
  • sag is ready, now you can serve it with paratha or roti
